Private self-catering (serviced daily) cottage in Tonteldoos Village (approx 21kms north west of Dullstroom) on a working farm - viewing animals up close encouraged. 2 bedrooms (1 double and 2 single beds); 1 bathroom with shower/toilet (prior notice if babies need to be specially catered for). Open plan lounge with bar/dining area and cozy fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, small oven/stove, electric frying pan and cutlery/crockery/linen for 4, extra on request. Built in external braai as well as weber and plenty of wood. 2 well stocked dams in panoramic views with picnic spots and good private fishing (no rod hire). Bird watching, hikes, mountain biking and all outdoor activities welcomed. Horse riding on request. Cell reception (MTM best, Vodacom at various sites). Touch farm for children - geese, lambs, calves, pigs, chickens and cows.

Children 50% of adult fee 12 yrs and under
ANIMALS: A limit of 2 small dogs will be allowed at a fee of R50 per dog
EASTER LONG WEEKEND MINIMUMS R2250.00 (3 guests for 4 nights)
LONG WEEKEND MINIMUM RATE R1890.00 (3 guests for 3 nights)
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR MINIMUM R3000.00 (3 guests for 4 nights)
Midweek rates:
R210 per person
children under 12 yrs 50% of tariff
Minimum midweek rate: R400.00
FISHING: Your
rate covers all guests for a collective total of 2 fish per weekend,
should you catch more the charge is R55.00 per kilo.
We would appreciate your honesty in implementing this policy.
Payment can be made on departure. We
would encourage breakfast and suppers to be sourced from the smaller
dam. Please help us to
ensure quality delivery by recording your catch.“Catch
and Release” is encouraged from the larger dam.
Again, recording your catch, the conditions and your choice of
fly will ensure a better quality delivery.
The
cottage is serviced daily at 10am by Lina, should you wish to alter the
time of this please inform us. The
servicing includes making beds, cleaning dishes, replacing wet towels
and cleaning the braai’s.
